Check Us Out

A place to get away from the bar scene and to meet new friends in person. A friendly, welcoming crowd of mostly middle aged singles and couples. The only age restriction is 18 or over. Come check us out as non-members. An easy-going atmosphere where you can come and dance with the regulars that have come to know your name. Some of the regularly attending couples have met at Club Du Soleil Dances.

Our Dances

For most dances the evening starts with a free dance lesson, and DJ music is played. When we have the occasional live band, there is no dance lesson and DJ music is played between band breaks to keep you dancing all evening long. Dance to a variety of dance genres from the 60’s to 80’s. Jive to 50’s rock, two step to Country, waltzes, ball room styles, and a little Latin. Show off your dance moves or just groove to your own style and have a good time!

Come to a Dance

Memberships run from February 8th 2025 to January 31, 2026. Admission is $15 for Members or $20 for Non-Members. The price of an annual membership is $35 which includes the first dance. We also have A Christmas Dinner and Dance December 13th. $55 for Members, $65 for Non-Members.

Our History

A Non-Profit Society Since 1978

Incorporated in 1978 as Club Du Soleil of Edmonton. We are still Edmonton's Premier Singles Club! A social dancing club. Dances were once held at the Silver Slipper. Before online dating, it was "The Place" to meet singles while enjoying an evening out. Over the years many singles became couples and are still welcomed to come dance with us.
